Path continues for Cole Snyder

June 7th, 2018

Southwest Senior High School quarterback Cole Snyder has decided where he will continue his academic and athletic career. Snyder verbally committed to Rutgers on June 6th, 2018.

Before Cole became the face of the #Kn19hts recruiting class he was a small town recruit. In the spring of 2017 he attended FBU Nashville. After performing well in Nashville he received an invitation to the prestigious FBU Top Gun Showcase.

At Top Gun he was able to compete with the best players from regional camps across the nation. Once he returned back to his team in the fall he was ready to roll as a better quarterback.

“Football University gave me the opportunity to get exposure. Coming from Western New York you don’t get nearly as much love from college coaches as kids from the south or the west coast,” said Snyder.

Snyder finished he junior season with 18 passing touchdowns and over 1,500 yards.

He would continue his path with Football University by accepting an invitation to the National Combine in San Antonio (TX).

Within 13 months of attending his first regional camp Cole Snyder is now committed to play college football in the Big Ten.

“Going through the Football University process helped me tremendously to get to where I am today.”

Stay tuned for what’s next in his path.
