Football University continued its 2016 camp season in Central Florida last weekend. Over 200 student-athletes experienced NFL-level technique training under FBU’s elite faculty of NFL coaches.

2018 OT, William Barnes, of Apopka High School, was one of the U.S. Army Combine invitees from the FBU Central Florida Camp. He is confident in his game with the ability to bend, run and finish off blocks. He has a great stance and is aggressive off the ball and does not back off. Barner was the top lineman at camp. Fellow U.S. Army Combine invitee, 2018 OT Eric Seidelman, from Bishop Moore High School, plays with a mean streak. He finishes his blocks, stays up and is very flexible. He has a great 1st and 2nd step and always finishes the block.

Bradley Canarie, 2017 QB from Cocoa High School, has a strong arm, good mechanics, and a high football IQ. He is very confident with his ability and can make all throws – short, intermediate and long routes. He has quick footwork and can get himself out of trouble. Fellow 2017 QB, Mitchell Machock, from Cocoa Beach High School, is a duel threat quarterback. He can hurt you with his legs as well as hi arm. He does a good job in reading the coverage and works well under field pressure.

2018 all-around athlete, Jakobe Thomas, from Cypress Creek High School, is a serious offensive athlete. He started camp as QB and moved to RB. He is power packed and has good ball skills. He is aggressive with the ball in his hands at both positions.

FBU Leadership Award winner was 2018 RB, Joshua Booker, from Manatee High School. He was the top skill player at camp with good vision and balance. He was explosive and had great body control.  Fellow 2018 RB, Bryce Williams, from Cardinal Mooney High School was the FBU Gatorade Award winner for high school. He had natural athleticism. He hits the hole with power, balance and solid ball protection.  As for the RB, 2017 Deshawn Massey, from Apopka High School, had the ability and determination to break tackles – regardless of his size. 2019 RB Ali Boyce from Riverview Sarasota High School shows good balance and vision. He makes good reads and acceleration when the pall is put in his pocket. He is a strong young athlete with a big upside.

2018 CB, Quvon Brown, from Osceola High School, had great ball skills and was aggressive to the football. He was able to make good reads in both zone and man coverage. Fellow 2018 CB, Cornelius Doe, from Calvary Christian High School, was the most physical defensive back in press coverage. He is confident and believes if the ball is thrown in his area – the ball belongs to him. Samuel Faustin, 2018 CB from Naples High School, has good body control and closing speeds. He makes good reads and understands complementary routes.

Caeleb Washington, 2017 DE from Melbourne/GA Prepatory Sports Academy, had a good getoff with his first step. He had good technique on the pass rush and plays with leverage. Teammate and fellow 2017 DE, Jaylin Wison, engages the blocker and disengages to get to the QB.

2017 FS, Mykel Jackson, from Timber Creek High School has good height and speed. He has good cover skills and showed great closing speed. He was able to make coverage calls with a strong voice during the 7 v 7.

Braden Gilby, 2018 ILB from Jesuit High School, attacked dthe line of scrimmage and stayed square throughout the entire play. He showed good technique on his tackles by locking up.

Winner of the FBU Leadership Youth Award was 2020 NT, Henry Bryant, from Oxbridge Academy. He plays low and aggressive. He has active hands and feet that violently shoot as he grabs the offensive lineman.

2017 OG, Gregory Moore, from Berkeley Prep High School, has a great flat back stance and delivers a violent punch. He has the ability to play any potion on the OL. He is a smart player on the field and in the classroom.

David Aumuller, 2017 OLB from Cocoa Beach High School, is productive on both sides of the ball. He is aggressive and good blocker and tackler. He is solid in his drops and keeps his head on a swivel to locate routes.

2017 P, Michael Leisle, from Nease High School, had very strong legs and a consistent hang time. He was solid in directional punting and placing of the ball.

FBU Gatorade Youth Award went to Jordan Cash, 2020 WR from Oxbridge Academy. He catches the ball with his fingers and keeps the ball away from his body. He has a great release and did not have one defensive back stop in on the line of scrimmage in press coverage. Fellow WR, Isaac Lipscomb, class of 2018 from Homestead/Keys Gate High School, was able to catch every ball thrown to him. He had excellent hand-eye coordination and always caught the ball at its highest point. He had the ability to rapidly bring the ball in after the catch no matter where it was thrown.
