Walter Banks was raised in Montgomery, Alabama and went on to play and coach at Cumberland University in Tennessee! He started out coaching high school ball in Central Florida at South Lake High School. After transitioning to Head Coach at Lake Minneola, Walter banks took the time to build a set of values and principles that he felt was needed to create a winning program!

Walter has spent time coaching and developing some great athletes such as University of Florida/ NFL Running Back Jeff Demps, Coastal Carolina Wide Receiver Fred Jackson, Eastern Kentucky Running Back Kyeandre Magloire , UA All American/ Florida State Defensive Back Nick Waisome, University of Florida/ New York Jets Offensive Lineman Johnathan Harrison,  Georgia Tech Defensive Back Keenan Johnson, University of Arkansas Linebacker Deon Edwards, Arizona State Offensive Lineman Paiton Fears, and lastly Florida State/New England Patriots Kicker Roberto Aguayo.
