Tony Banks

Biography

Position: Quarterbacks

Tony Banks is from San Diego, CA where he attended Hoover High School and was 3-sport Athlete. Out of High School, Banks elected to play professional baseball, as he was a member of the Minnesota Twins Double-A team before electing to go to college. After two years at San Diego Mesa College, Banks transferred to Michigan State University. At Michigan State, Banks became one of the Spartans most productive quarterbacks of all-time. He ranks sixth in passing completion percentage, tenth in career passing yards, and tenth in passing touchdowns.

After college, he entered the NFL Draft, and was the first quarterback selected in the 1996 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Rams.

He was an NFL QB for 12 seasons, playing for the Rams, Ravens, Cowboys, Redskins and Texans. He was part of the Ravens team that won Super Bowl XXXV.
