Rufus Alexander

Biography

Position: Linebackers

He played for the University of Oklahoma Sooners football team from 2003 to 2006. In 2006, Alexander was named to the All-Big 12 First Team, the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, and an AP and AFCA All-American. He went on to be drafted in the 6th round by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2007 NFL Draft. Despite a significant knee injury, Alexander went on to play in the NFL for three seasons with the Vikings, Colts and Lions.
