Peter Vaas

Biography

Position: Quarterbacks

Prior to his extensive coaching career, Peter Vaas was a walk-on and a three year starter at Holy Cross where he threw for 2,642 passing yards and 21 touchdowns.

Vaas began coaching immediately after graduation where he served as an assistant coach at Allegheny College. Vaas also coached at the collegiate level for New Hampshire, Notre Dame, Holy Cross, Duke, Miami (OH) and South Florida. He also made stops in the CFL and NFL Europe as the offensive coordinator for the Montreal Alouettes, and specialty and head coach for the Barcelona Dragons, Berlin Thunder and Cologne Centurions. Vaas was named the NCAC Coach of the Year twice and NFL Europe Coach of the Year.
