Norm Andersen

Biography

Position: Running Backs

Norm Andersen, UCLA Bruins alum, made his mark in Los Angeles as a player and coach. During his tenure, he appeared in a combined 7 Rose and Fiesta Bowls and finished his career with an unblemished record in those games.

After playing at UCLA, Norm spent time with the Chicago Bears. in 1977, Anderson returned to UCLA and began his coaching career catering to wide receivers and running backs. After leaving UCLA, Andersen became the Offensive Coordinator for Iowa State from 1987 to 1991. He spent a short period of time as the assistant coach at the University of Arizona football team before returning to UCLA.

The versatile Andersen has unique skills that have enabled him to coach and train some great players at three different positions.  He now passes on his expertise to the next generation of stars at Football University.
