Johnny Long

Biography

Position: Wide Receivers

Johnny Long comes to Football University with an extensive background as a player & coach! A graduate of Princeton High School in 2004, Coach Long was a unanimous 2x selection for 1st Team All GMC and All City, while also being a 1x selection for All Region, All District and All State. After high school, Johnny went on to attend the University of Akron where he helped lead the Zips to the MAC Championship in 2005. Coach Long then transferred to Ashland University where he finished out his college playing career and made 1st Team All GLIAC. Upon finishing his college career, he went on to coach at Ashland University for four years.

 

He currently is the Director of Sports Performance at RedLine Athletics in Cincinnati (West Chester/Mason and Loveland) and has been doing sports performance training full time since 2018. Began running a wide receiver school in January 2021 working with high school to professional pass catchers. Going into second season coaching wide receivers at Princeton High School.
