David Diaz-Infante knows how a solid work ethic and dedication can pay off. The Washington Times dubbed him “The Ultimate Underdog” saying, “perhaps no player in Super Bowl history has traveled a harder path to the Super Bowl than Diaz-Infante.” His career spanned 15 yrs from 1987 to 2001, where he played guard, center and long snapper. Diaz-Infante made his debut with the San Diego Chargers during the 1987 players strike and did not play another NFL game until the 1996 season. He honed his football skills between NFL stints by playing in the World Football League, Canadian Football League and the XFL.
Diaz-Infante played for the Denver Broncos from 1995-98, where he won two Super Bowl Championships: Super Bowls XXXII and XXXIII. He then spent the 1999 season with the Philadelphia Eagles and ended his career back with the Broncos in 2001. Since retirement from the NFL in 2002, he has been one of the most recognizable media personalities in the Denver area and a role model for Hispanics across the country. Currently, he is an analyst for ESPNU and ESPN. He was the voice and color analyst for the Denver Broncos Radio Network on 850 KOA and had been actively involved with other various television and radio shows.
