Biography

Position: Running Backs

High School: A two-time Simone Award winner as the top prep football player in the Kansas City metro area. Became the only two-time recipient of the award in history at the time and only the second junior to win the award following the 2012 season. Earned Missouri Class 6 Offensive Player of the Year honors by the Missouri Football Coaches Association (MFCA) in 2013 and was the Missouri Gatorade Player of the Year as both a junior and senior. Named a first team all-state player by the MFCA and the Missouri media in both 2012 and 2013. Also selected to the USA TODAY Sports/American Family Insurance All-USA Missouri Team as both a junior and a senior. A two-time Kansas City Star All-Metro team honoree. Rated the 11th-best all-purpose back nationally by Rivals. Rushed for 2,223 yards and 29 touchdowns as a senior, while he also hauled in three touchdown receptions to help lead Blue Springs to the Missouri Class 6 State Championship for the second straight season. Totaled 2,300 yards and 45 total touchdowns, including 40 rushing scores, as a junior. Selected to play in the Blue-Grey North South All-American Bowl.

College: A shifty and elusive player who progressed over each year of his career. Became more of a receiving threat out of the backfield during his final campaign. He played in over 41 games totaling over 900 all-purpose yards with 5 TDs.

Coaching: 2nd year Running Backs coach and Run game coordinator at St. Pius X- Kansas City High School. Assisted in coaching the team to a 12-1 record finishing 2nd in the state. The running back group accounted for over 2,200 yards and 27 TDs on the season featuring a committee styled backfield.
