Position: Defensive Backs
Coby Tippett is an FBU alumnus who was named an Eastbay All-American in addition to attending multiple Football University Camps and competing at Top Gun.
Tippett dominated at Xaverian Brothers High School HS. He was named ESPNBoston Mr. Football as a senior and helped the Hawks to back-to-back MIAA Division I state championships. Played one year at Cheshire Academy and helped the Cats to an 8-2 record and the NEPSAC Wayne Sanborn Bowl championship. He was named to the Class A All-New England team.
Tippett went on to play at Towson University, earning All-CAA Third Team honors at safety. He then closed his career at URI. While at URI, he earned two CAA Football All-Conference honors, making the first team as a punt returner and the third team as a safety.
Coby signed with New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2022.
