The two-time All-SoCon honoree accumulated 737 rushing yards and passed for a personal-best 1,178 yards in 2004. He broke Georgia Southern and SoCon records for touchdowns accounted for in a season (38, – 25 rushing/13 passing) and career (85 – 62 rushing/23 passing).

His 25 rushing TDs during his senior season tie him for third among the GSU season leaders and the 62 throughout his stellar career stand as second-most. Williams recorded 16 100-yard rushing games throughout his four-year career.

Williams, just the sixth Eagle to register 603 career rushes, shattered five records: lowest passes intercepted in a career (.0291), most consecutive games throwing a TD pass (5), highest percentage of passes for TDs in a season (11.3%) and career (8.4) and most yards per completion (19.95) in a career. He closed out his senior year by not throwing an interception in his last 91 pass attempts and ended his career 25-8 as the starting QB. In 40 career appearances he totaled 374 points, second-most in Eagle history.

Williams was signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent after college.
