After quarterbacking the Oklahoma Sooners and being a draft pick of the Cincinnati Reds, Charles Thompson is now set to teach the next generation of quarterbacks at Football University.
Thompson had a four year professional football career where he spent two years with NFL Europe and two years in the Canadian Football League.
During his time at Oklahoma, Thompson led the Sooners as a redshirt freshman to an 11-1 record, including a win over the No.1 ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers. As a sophomore, Thompson claimed All-Big Eight Conference First-Team honors after leading Oklahoma to a 9-3 overall record. Charles took his talents to the Canadian Football League and p-layed with the Sacramento Goldminers and Shreveport Pirates for four years. After the CFL, he played for the Barcelona Dragons in the NFL Europe.
Now a business man and motivational speaker, Thompson teaches football players lessons both on and off the field they can keep for a lifetime. He also started OK Titans Inc, an organization that operates Oklahoma City’s largest youth football complex and ogram for kids in that area.
