2021 quarterback Preston Stone came to the 2018 Football University Top Gun Showcase with 37 college offers. After his outstanding performance, he left with one invite.

He sat down with Chad Ricardo, the voice of youth football and Football University creative media partner. Chad asked him all about his successes as an athlete, and personal admiration of Football University.

“The best guys are always going to come from Football University,” stated Preston after day two at the 2018 FBU Top Gun Showcase.

Preston has enjoyed working with the FBU coaches. He credits his talent to the coaches he has worked with over the years. It has been a whirlwind experience for him, and he had this advice for future FBU athletes.

“The best thing about FBU is that FBU is always the best of the best – the best coaches, the best players, the best staff. When you come out here, you’ve gotta be ready to compete because you’re going against the best and it’s going to prepare you for the future.”

He’s been an FBU Freshman All-American, attended FBU regional Camps, played in the FBU National Championship tournament, and has been selected to multiple FBU Top Gun events. Despite 37 scholarship offers, Preston continues to develop and get better at Football University events.

At the closing ceremonies of the 2018 FBU Top Gun high school session, Preston’s outstanding performance merited an invitation to the 2021 All-American Bowl, to be played in San Antonio, Texas in January 2021.
