New Jersey native Mike Teel attended Don Bosco Prepatory High School, leading them to a state title and an overall 23-0 record as a starter. Teel spent his collegiate career at Rutgers University. In his sophomore season, the Scarlet Knights finished with an 11–2 record as Teel tallied 2,135 passing yards and 12 touchdowns in 2006.
Drafted in sixth round of the 2009 NFL draft by the Seattle Seahawks, Teel currently serves as the offensive coordinator at Don Bosco Prep and will share his quarterback knowledge at Football University.
