FBU Top Gun Specialist Showcase

Football University has partnered with Chris Sailer Kicking and Rubio Long Snapping as the official specialist selection partners for the FBU Freshman All-American Bowl and All-American Bowl on NBC.

All-American selections will be made at the FBU Top Gun Showcase this June 28-30 at the Paradise Coast Sports Complex in Naples, FL.

The FBU Top Gun Showcase is an annual three-day national showcase, designed to highlight the best middle school and high school FBU student-athletes in an intense position-specific test of technical skill and ability.

  • Prove yourself and your technical ability in 1-on-1, 4-on-3, run game, and 7-on-7 competitions.
  • Our instructors will have over 500 years of NFL/NCAA Coaching & Playing experience and will take you through an enhanced showcase curriculum. More Rep. More Competition. More Improvement.
  • 247sports, the premier scouting & recruiting service in the country, will be on-site evaluating student-athletes, creating profiles and providing full media coverage during all three (3) days
  • The UC Report will be on-site as well to scout all 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028, 2029 and 2030 student-athletes in attendance and sending full reports to 110+ FBS Schools & 30+ FCS Schools (including Ivy League)
  • QB Hit list will be on-site to evaluate quarterbacks for their Top 100 QB Rankings
  • Over 50% of the 2022 FBU Freshman All-American Bowl athletes were invited from Top Gun
  • Each year, 200 HS underclassmen are invited to the National Combine at the All-American Bowl
  • Each Year, 100 MS are invited to the FBU Futures Showcase in Naples, FL during Championship Week
  • All-FBU Top Gun Teams are named and released nationally for each class through 247Sports, On3, ESPN and other media outlets
  • Last year FIVE (5) invites to the All-American Bowl on NBC were awarded at the Top Gun Showcase

Who is Chris Sailer?

Chris Sailer was a 2-Time All-American Kicker & Punter at UCLA. He is the only player in UCLA history to be named an All-American in two positions in one year. After completing his senior season he was invited to the NFL combine and was signed as a free agent by the San Francisco 49ers in 1999. Chris also played 5+ seasons in the Arena Football League with San Jose Sabercats, Oklahoma Wrangers & Arizona Rattlers. Click here for a glimpse of Chris Sailer training in action.

Who is Chris Rubio?

Just like Chris Sailer, Chris Rubio attended UCLA and was a long snapper who snapped to two All-American Kickers and one All-American Punter.

Numerous Success Stories

Together Sailer and Rubio established their camps in 1999 and currently run over 30 specialists camps nationwide per year. In addition they hold a scouting camp in Australia each year and are hired to coach specialists camps for Alabama, LSU, Texas, Texas A&M, Oregon, UCLA, Washington and other top football programs. They train over 3,000 high school and junior college specialists per year and have trained hundreds of high school and junior college All-Americans. Over 1,000 specialists who have trained at Sailer and Rubio camps have found themselves on college rosters. Dozens of their campers have gone on to become All-Americans and 20 specialists have gone on to play in the NFL. Their camps are the Nation’s #1 resource for College & NFL Coaches as well as the Nation’s #1 leader in social media presence for Kickers, Punters, & Long Snappers.
