Biography

Position: Wide Receivers

Freddie Smith is in his third year as the Passing Game Coordinator and Wide Receivers coach at NDSCS. He brings 20 years of coaching experience to the Wildcat program. He began his coaching career in 2000 as a high school wide receivers coach in San Diego. Over the next 19 years he has coached in various programs from high school to college. He coached at Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) for the 2004 and 2005 seasons as the wide receivers coach. He played WR at Grossmont College and then at San Diego State. Spent time in the NFL and AFL. Freddie and his wife, Heather, have 3 boys, Quincy, Karsen, and Cayden.
