One of the most decorated SEC Linebackers, Kash Daniel, is coming home to FBU as a member of the Coaching Staff. This FBU Camp Alumni, was named Mr. Football in Kentucky after the 2015 season and was also recognized as the Kentucky High School Gatorade Player of the year at Paintsville High School. He went on to play at the University of Kentucky, where he was a two-year starter at Inside Linebacker. Outside of starting for the Wildcats, he was named team captain for two years and was a member of the winningest class in Kentucky Football History.

Career Highlights at UK Include:

  • Two-time team captain
  • Played in 51 games with 23 starting assignments, only missing one game in his career with injury
  • 168 career tackles along with 11.5 tackles for loss, seven quarterback hurries, four pass breakups, one interception and one sack
  • Had four career double-figure tackle games
  • Part of a senior class who won 32 games over the last four seasons, the most wins for UK in a four-year span since 1949-52, when Paul “Bear” Bryant coached the Cats
  • Helped UK advance to four consecutive bowl appearances and back-to-back bowl wins for the first time since the 2007 Music City Bowl and 2009 Liberty Bowl
