Ethan Horton

Biography

Position: Running Backs

Ethan Horton has played a different position and excelled at every level of the game. Starting as a quarterback in high school, he transitioned into a running back at North Carolina where he played his entire collegiate career. Horton earned earned 1st team All-ACC honors and was named the Conference Player of the Year at North Carolina.

His stellar senior season with the Tar Heels paved a path to the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs. After starting as a running back in the league, he was switched over to tight end with the Los Angeles Raiders and Washington Redskins. At tight end, Horton earned Pro Bowl honors in 1991. Horton finished his NFL career with 212 receptions for 2,360 yards and 17 touchdowns. He was recently named to the All-ACC Legends team.
