Deke Hocker

Biography

Position: Quarterbacks

Deke Hocker was a  2-year starter at quarterback and defensive back at Otterbein University. Hocker started his coaching career as the wide receiver coach at Western Kentucky University. The Hilltoppers won the Ohio Valley Conference with an undefeated season, led the nation in passing efficiency rating, and made 2 NCAA playoff appearances under Hocker.

Hocker joined the Otterbein University coaching staff as a quarterback coach, passing game coordinator, and special teams coordinator. He coordinated the No. 1 passing offense in Ohio Athletic Conference and coached numerous quarterbacks and wide receivers who set individual, school, and NCAA records. Hocker was the quarterback coach and offensive coordinator at Buckeye Valley High School.

Currently is the Head Coach at St. Charles Prep in Columbus.
